Around two thousand people have concentrated this afternoon at the gates of the City Council of the Murcian town of Torre Pacheco, convened by the mayor of the town, Pedro Ángel Roca Tornel (PP), after the brutal aggression perpetrated last Wednesday against Domingo, a 68 -year -old neighbor of the town, by three young people allegedly of Maghreb origin.

Although the concentration has been developed without significant incidents, at its end, members of the Xenophobic and populist political organization Front Obrero, have deployed large banners with the victim's pixelated face and have begun to heat the environment.

Neighbors of different nationalities have concentrated this Friday in the Torreo Pacheco Plaza

With most of the neighbors already back to their chores, some groups of ultras have begun persecution through the streets of young Maghreb -looking at the shout of “sons of a bitch”, “Moors of shit” or “go to your fucking country.”

At this time the bewilderment reigns in the town, where a special operation of the security forces and bodies has had to be deployed to protect the persecuted young people.

In the hours prior to concentration, organizations linked to the extreme right such as ATPORTAm Now have tried honest or not ”.

In these groups, names and addresses of Maghreb people have been shared while some participants claimed to have “the prepared rifle”. “Where do you have to go? I have fierce cars and weapons for those who lack,” can be read in some of the messages that anyone can access just by downloading this application on your mobile phone.

Through the same messaging platform, “Caserías” is also being organized for July 15, 16 and 17, with the intention of seeking the aggressors “and giving them direct justice to gather them with Allah,” they say textually.

For its part, the company Desokupa, through its owner, Daniel Esteve has announced on YouTube that it is coordinating the presence of groups in Torre Pacheco at the beginning of next week to “put order”. “We are all older, we have hairs on the eggs and whoever wants to come to play will be well received,” he says in the recording to warn below that “we will have to assume what comes.”

A long and violent night

Official sources have confirmed to this wording that citizen security in Torre Pacheco has been “important” with police officers and the “visible and invisible” civil guard agents.

However, it is expected that the night will be long and complicated, since, according to municipal sources, “groups have gathered outside that have come to sow tares with the response of others, these premises, which also seem to seek conflict.”

In fact, in the social network X they proliferate videos of persecutions, to stones, of young people of Maghreb descent. In another, an aggressive and uncontrolled mob breaks the moon of a busy vehicle with a crutch and attacks its occupants. All in the presence of Civil Guard agents who can barely contain the violent.

The activity in the telegram groups of Affort Them Now is frantic and prepares new algaradas. Some of its members have already uploaded videos ensuring that they are moving in vehicles from Madrid, Cádiz or Toledo to the Murcian town with the intention of participating in the “hunts.”

Violence is mainly concentrated in the San Antonio neighborhood, where there is a greater presence of migrant neighbors.

Given the facts, the president of the Association of Moroccan Workers in Spain (Atim), Sabah Yacoubi, has declared through the social network X that “the savages will always be wild, regardless of their origin or religion”, and that “violence has no excuse and hate is never a solution.”

Tomorrow, it is Vox who summons the citizens and the media, also at the gates of the City Council, under the motto 'enough. Defend yourself from insecurity. Come to Torre Pacheco! '

The mayor calls peaceful coexistence

Meanwhile, the mayor of the town, who has read a manifesto flanked by sixteen of the twenty -one councilors who make up the municipal corporation – although there was a presence of all municipal groups – has asked the Government delegation in the Region of Murcia and the competent agencies that grant the Civil Guard Barracks of Torre Pacheco “the endowment of agents necessary to patrol our municipality” National Police Police Station in the municipality, “considering our characteristics and those of our region.”

He has also asked to “harden security legislation” because “we cannot tolerate our forces and our citizens feel homeless while criminals feel unpunished.”

Roca Tornel has also called for peaceful coexistence recalling that Torre Pacheco, whose population has tripled in recent decades for the thrust of agriculture, “has been a town that many immigrant people have made their home”, because “here they found a prosperous future.” However, he said that “we cannot tolerate our municipality to become a place where any criminal can act with freedom and impunity.” For those who “do not seek a future in coexistence and in peace” the mayor has claimed that they be applied “a law that protects us and allows us to live safe” because “they are directly contrary to the coexistence and peace we deserve.”
