The Vikingo son suffered an apparent injury on Sunday when eHe struggled against Kid Lykos II at the Progress Chapter 175: Unboxing VII today in London and landed strangely in what seemed like an attempt of red code or Sunset Flip.
The referee made the sign of “X” and Viking was helped to reach the back. Fans reports indicate that he was supporting his knee.
Progress wrote:
“Viking vs Lykos II stopped early due to an unfortunate Viking injury. Our medical team will examine him and hope he will recover quickly and can return to a ring of progress in the future.”
Lykos ii I would write Later: “The son of Vikingo is one of the best fighters in the world and it was an honor to share the ring with him today. The way things end was, of course, the greatest possible shame and I have nothing more than hope that we can fight again soon when he is 100%again.”
Viking has had to deal with multiple injuries over 2024. Seven months was lost due to a ligament break and a meniscus tear that suffered in February in an event in Mexico. Shortly after returning in September, Viking was injured in the October television recordings of TNA in Detroit.
His fight against Trent Seven in the recordings also stopped before the time after Viking landed awkwardly in a traabuzon out. As a result, he was withdrawn from his scheduled debut in Progress against Face Noir a few weeks later. However, Vikingo later revealed that he had avoided damaging his ligament or muscle and returned to the ring the following month.
