
After many teams renounced the Eurocup, a priori, the second most prestigious competition in Europe, the BCL thus becomes the second official competition by moving forward to the Eurocup.
The Basketball Champions League raffle has framed the Tenerife Lagoon in Group B with Bursa Tofas, BNEI Herzliya and the Trapani Shark, while Dreamland Gran Canaria, in Group H, will play against Benfica, Le Mans Sert and Spartak Office Shoes.
For its part, the other Spanish in Liza, the Joventut de Badalona, will fight against the Netanel Holon Israeli Hapoel, the Cholet Basket French and the winner of the second classification tournament of the previous phase, an instance where the UCAM Murcia will also be in its fight to access the main box of the FIBA Champions League.

The regular season will be played with the same format as in previous seasons, with 32 teams distributed in eight groups of four.
The best team of each group of the regular season will advance directly to the round of 16, while the second and third place will pass to the play-in the best of three in January.
