The Colombian pilot David Alonso suffered a spectacular fall this Sunday during the race of the Indonesian Grand Prix in Moto2.
After a brilliant classification in which he achieved second place, ensuring his departure from the first row, Alonso had been fighting inside the top-5 when he lost control of his motorcycle and ended on the ground.
The incident generated great concern between its followers and the team, especially for the violence of impact.
The young talent of Cfmoto had shown a great level over the weekend, even after having recovered from a previous fall in the practices.
However, in full competition, when he struggled to stay among the former, a speeding played a bad pass.
“In the first laps I have tried to get a little more active and I felt better in the braking. I was a lot to keep the rhythm with the pilots in front and I went to the limit. I have opened the gas a little more and I have fallen, fortunately I am fine and nothing has happened to me,” Alonso said after the incident.
Despite the accident, the medical part is positive. The Colombian did not suffer injuries and already gave a part of tranquility to his followers.
The expectation is now in its mental recovery and preparation for the next appointment of the championship, where it will seek to continue demonstrating why it is one of the pilots with the greatest projection of international motorcycling.
