Jonathan Milan won stage 17 of the Tour de France 2025 after a chaotic end marked by a massive fall under the last kilometer banner, which left several cyclists beaten.

The Italian of Lidl-Trek dodged the disaster, launched a powerful sprint and won alone, expanding its advantage in the points classification, while Pogacar and Vingegaard, well located, avoided the fall and maintained their positions in the general.

The Top 10 of the general classification after stage 17 keeps Tadej Pugačar as a solid leader with 4:15 advantage over Jonas Vingegaard, who seems the only one with real options to fight the title. Behind, Florian Lipowitz strengthens on the podium more than nine minutes, closely followed by Oscar Onley, both matched in time but separated by previous positions. Primož Roglič closes the Top five to almost 12 minutes, while Kévin Vauquelin, Felix Gall and Tobias Find Johannessen complete the group of the best with growing differences. Ben Healy and Carlos Rodríguez, although even within the top 10, are already more than 17 and 20 minutes respectively, without real podium options but signing an outstanding performance.

Sergio Higuita is the best Colombian located in the Tour general, in 19 to 54:57 pages, consolidating a constant performance and without shocks. Further back, Harold Tejada (42 °) and Santiago Buitrago (46 °) appear, the latter with an outstanding recovery, including its great performance in Mont Ventoux. Einer Rubio, from Movistar Team, completes the national representation in box 56, more than two hours from the leader.
