Tna Wrestling made some important changes today and let a former WWE champion. The promotion recently entered an association of several years with NXT.
PWInsider He informed that the president of TNA, Carlos Silva, issued a memorandum to Anthem staff announcing the departure of eight people from the company. Ariel Shnerer was the Executive Producer of Total Nonstop Action, but is no longer with the promotion. Hunter “Delirious” Johnston will now take creative control after Shnerer's departure.
One of the most prominent names that were fired was the member of the Hall of Fame of TNA Gail Kim. The veteran had been with the company for almost 15 years and worked behind the scene in talent relations. Tommy Dreamer will now be in charge of talent relations after Kim's departure.
Kim was the inaugural champion of the Impact Knockouts and achieved a lot during his time in TNA. He is also a former WWE female champion and spent a couple of years at the Global Giant at the beginning of his career in professional wrestling.
WWE star wants to get Gail Kim out of Retiro
WWE Natalya's superstar recently revealed that he wanted to get Gail Kim out of retirement for combat.
Kim had not competed in a fight since 2023, when he returned to the ring for episode 1,000 impact. In an interview last year, Natalya said he wanted to get the 48 -year -old fighter out of the retirement and said she was underestimated.
“I am desperate to get Gail Kim out of the retirement,” Natalya continued. “Gail is very underestimated, she is very talented. Working with her or against her is incredible. But Gail Kim, her style, was so advanced to her time, and when I think of Iyo (Sky) and I think of Dakota (Kai), and I think of so many talented women, like Zoey Stark, I think of her styles and say, 'Gail was an innovative of that style.'
