The Classic RCN systemed 2025 continues to progress in its first week of competition and this Monday will live a new chapter in the third stage, a tour that will link to The sanctuary (Antioquia) with Puerto Salgar (Cundinamarca), on a layout of 182.3 kilometers. It will be the first time in this edition that the cycling caravan leaves the Antioquia department to enter Cundinamarqués.

The fraction, which will begin towards the 8:30 In the morning in the main park of El Sanctuary, it will have a varied profile but with a clearly favorable outcome for sprinters. Although the climbers will have land to show their legs in the first half of the day, the layout will be softened until it flows into a completely flat ending in Puerto Salgar, just 385 meters above sea level.

The menu of the day includes three mountain awards. The first, just 4.3 km from the game, will be the rise to High beautiful (Third category, 2,135 meters above sea level), a short challenge but will serve as a filter to mark the tonic of the day. Then, at 50.8 km, the Alto Jaime Look (Second category), more demanding for its ramps and for the time of the race in which it appears. The last port will be Monteloroalso second category, located at kilometer 79.5. After overcoming it, the runners will find an extensive descent that will lead to the flat field that will characterize the second half of the route.

The show will not be limited to the mountain. There will be intermediate points that could move secondary classifications. The Special Sprints They will be located in the Mirador de Cocormá (km 21,3), the rest (km 27,7) and PR 11 (km 112,2). In addition, sprinters looking for the shirt of the flying goals will have three opportunities: the Arangons (km 60,2), the colors (km 100.6) and the entrance to Puerto Triunfo (km 122,1).

Perfect land for packagors

The second part of the tour, from Montelororo to Puerto Salgar, will be played entirely on flat terrain. This opens the door to a massive definition, in which Sprint specialists must work with discipline to control any escape attempt. For the favorites of the general, the mission will be another: protect and avoid loss of time before the background mountain arrives in the next few days.
