A wrestling veteran recently criticized the triple H management of the WWE product. The King of Kings assumed creative responsibilities in 2022 after the departure of Vince McMahon.
Speaking in the podcast The BrandVince Russo said that WWE has been suffering a lack of leadership since McMahon's departure, which has led to a decrease in responsibility and quality. He criticized the management of Triple H, considering that he lacks the necessary understanding to direct the company effectively.
“Vince McMahon is no longer there. You don't have a ship captain. There is no one keeping people online, watching them and demanding excellence. And I am only seeing a show that, for me, is composed of people who do not know what they are doing. At the top of that list is triple H. I don't think this guy knows what he does,” said Russo.
The former World Wrestling Entertainment speech used the example of Becky Lynch, who, once a venerated babyface, is now a despised Heel. However, his entry theme, which used to be popular for fans to sing, remains the same. Russo pointed out certain nuances that someone like The Game may not understand enough.
“First of all, Becky (Lynch) is now Heel … So what is the first thing? The first thing is that you listen to Becky's music that was created when it was babyface. In the same episode, Vince Russo pointed out an area of weakness related to Lyra Valkyria. The veteran observed that the recent work of the current intercontinental female champion demonstrates a lack of preparation for the position.
According to the former WWE Guicist, Triple H is making an error by placing Lyra Valkyria at the top due to her inability to “give a promo” with emotional depth.
