Triple H received a second chance in life after recovering from a cardiac episode in the summer of 2021. After this, he understandably hung his boots. He made a surprising confession about his return to the ring.
In a fantastic episode of the podcast High Performancethe King of Kings were asked about the cardiac episode and the restrictions that this imposes in his life until today, more than three and a half years later.
Triple H revealed that he is actually allowed to do anything he wants, except fighting. However, he made a surprising admission to stating that he no longer has any desire to return to the ring.
“I have said it many times. Apart from the health fright, because my health is excellent. My heart is 100% and I am healthy, and I do everything I want to do, except fight, which I don't want to do anyway anyway.” (1: 11: 17-1: 11: 31)

Triple H reveals how health scare gave him a new perspective on life
Continuing talking about his health, Triple H opened by saying that he saw the scare of health as a second chance in life and subsequently emphasized his entire perspective about things.
For example, he said that when he has a bad show, he can now simply think about the fact that he has a wife and three children waiting for him at home. He said he has everything he could desire and more, no matter how bad things are. He called a “gift” to life and said that, despite how easy it is to rationalize everything, incidents such as health scare change fundamentally who is one as a human being.
A few years ago, the news of his health scare came out of nowhere, and it was only revealed long after The Game had ended his career in the ring. Although ideally he would have liked to have a farewell fight similar to the one Batista had with him in Wrestlemania 35, there are certainly much more important things in life than a great wrestling fight.
Anyway, Triple H has reached the top of the industry in WWE many times and one can speculate that such a thing must have been part of its reasoning line when looking at life through the lens of the second opportunity he received.
