A wrestling veteran predicted that the WWE creative, led by triple H, will place a world champion of multiple times to win the next struggle of the male elimination chamber. He said that two main reasons would be behind that decision.
Two first-level superstars have already reserved their places in the struggle of the 2025 male elimination chamber while John Cena declared himself for combat during the post-show of the Royal Rumble, CM Punk advanced to him by defeating Sami Zayn in a classification fight last night in RAW. Speaking in The Coach & Bro ShowWWE's former main writer Vince Russo revealed that he believes that the company will place The Second City Saint to win on March 1 and challenge Cody Rhodes in Wrestlemania 41.
While the wrestling veteran said that WWE had already sown the seeds so that the winner of the 2025 male rumble, Jey use, challenges Gunther in The Show of Shows, said the age and history of punk injuries would push the company to reserve it in the second fight for the world title in Wrestlemania:
“Together with that, they have to pay CM Punk going to a star event in Wrestlemania. You can't wait because Punk is aging, Punk is always injured. So, I think Punk will win the elimination camera, go to Wrestlemania and face Cody Rhodes,” he said. (From 8:17 to 08:40)
WWE ex-employee also thinks that CM Punk will win the elimination chamber
In the podcast Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Wordformer employee Tommy Carlucci discussed the next struggle of the male elimination chamber. He predicted that the company will not place John Cena to win the fight despite the fact that the latter said it would be the best for the business he headed Wrestlemania 41.
Meanwhile, Carlucci revealed that he thinks that CM Punk would be the one who would be victorious from the elimination chamber. He also revealed that he believes that The Best in the World would face Cody Rhodes for WWE's undisputed championship in The Showcase of the Immortals:
“I think they will only have dinner chasing that 17th. Even if he is in the elimination chamber, I think Punk will win the elimination chamber. That is my opinion and will face Cody Rhodes,” he said.
Punk and Rhodes had a shortened confrontation in RAW before the Royal Rumble. It would be interesting to see if the two would really collide in this year's' Wrestlemania.
