The Boss final recently talked about his absence in Wrestlemania 41 during a conversation with Pat Mcafee in The Pat McAfee Show. He said he didn't show up at The Show of Shows because he wanted all the attention to be in John Cena.
“I called John and Cody after elimination chamber, and I said, 'I think the work of The Final Boss is done. We just did the best angle in the history of wrestling. I am always here if they need me, but it is better that The Final Boss is not involved in that end,” he said.
It remains to be seen when he will return to WWE.
