This year's WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony took place before Wrestlemania 41 in Winchester, Nevada, where many notable names were honored for their contributions to professional wrestling. Among those legendary names were Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin, who, according to Vince Russo, were not happy with the amount of time they were given.

This year's ceremony presented the first recipient of the “immortal moment”, a new category that will see historical matches being induced to the Hall of Fame. The honor went to Bret Hart and Stone Cold this year for their fight in Wrestlemania 13. However, the two did not have much time for their speech, while the triple H speech towards the end of the show lasted more than an hour.

Speaking in WrestleManiaVince Russo said that the little time given to Bret and Austin did not feel good. WWE ex -writer also said that the two legends did not seem happy with their trimmed minutes:

“That is what bothered me. Don't tell me that Triple H was a bigger star than Austin and Bret. That is what really bothered me. He returns and looks at Bret and Austin, do you think those guys were happy? Unfortunately, they can't say anything due to the position in which I am triple H. I will mention Vince again, because that would never have happened in the time of Vince.” (From 1:10:27 onwards)

The WWE 2025 Hall of Fame was headed for the induction of Triple H, who was induced by his best friend, Shawn Michaels. Michelle McCool also joined the list of members of the Hall of Fame.
