If you have not heard of the former WWE Armando Estrada manager for a long time, it is for a good reason. The man who presented Umaga to the world in the mid -2000s has remained away from wrestling during the last decade, although in 2019 he was the manager of the current WWE star and nephew of the deceased Umaga, Jacob Fatu.
Now, in 2024, however, Estrada is returning to wrestling, signing a WWE legend contract and accepting to be the manager of the son of Umaga, Zilla Fatu, in an upcoming wrestling event.
In its appearance in “Busted Open Radio“, Estrada talked about the opportunity to be the manager of someone's son with whom Estrada shared a close link years ago. The former WWE star admitted that, until recently, he had not seen Zilla in person from the funeral of Umaga. However, the two have been reconnected in a short time and, despite Zilla's limited experience, Estrada believes that the young man has a brilliant future in the wrestling.
“It has all the tools,” said Estrada. “It has the size, appearance and has had less than 40 fights, which is crazy. It is only possible to see how it will be seen in two, three, five years, with a little more straed experience, in addition to continuing to add repetitions in the ring.”
Zilla has caused a great impression on more people than Solo Estrada, working for independent promotions such as reality of Wrestling and GCW, while it is also said that the interest of the WWE aroused, as a possible new member of Roman Reigns or Bloodline of Sol Sikoa.
However, the young man has also generated some controversy, after they took it out of all GCW shows in September “for the predictable future.” No reason for the decision was given.
Zilla Fatu prefers to sign a contract with WWE on AEW
In an interview with Joey Franchize, Zilla Fatu shared her opinion on being part of Bloodline in real life and expressed her gratitude for the legacy of those who raided the way for the family.
When asked about his preference between WWE and AEW, Fatu leaned for WWE, citing the extensive story that his family shares with the company.
“Wwe, yes. That is the main one. As I said, returning to what I was saying with my family, my family has a long history with WWE. At the same time, I do not want to be the first fatu or anoa'i to go to Aew. I do not want to break that cycle. But it has to make sense because the trip of each person is different. My trip is different. My story is very different from that of alone, to the use of the uses, to the use of the uses, to the use of the (Fatu).
