Uncle Howdy's return to WWE's television has been one of the most anticipated moments by wrestling fans, especially because he now leads the Wyatt Sicks group, originally formed by Bray Wyatt.

Last Monday during the WWE RAW episode of August 26, Uncle Howdy faced a very anticipated fight against Chad Gable, marking his return to the ring after a long time of absence. This event was not only significant for wrestling followers, but also had a deep emotional impact on Howdy's family.

In the star event of the night, Uncle Howdy returned to the ring facing Chad Gable. This fight occurred almost two years after Howdy was presented for the first time on WWE television during the return of Bray Wyatt in 2022. In addition, he marked the first Bo Dallas fight in WWE since November 13, 2019, when he competed in a team fight in which Gable also participated. Howdy's victory was decisive, “successfully dodging a Moonsault of Chad Gable and quickly following an Sister Abigail,” which assured him the victory and a memorable return to the quadrilateral.

After the fight, Rotunda Mika, sister of Bo Dallas, turned to Instagram to express her emotions. In a moving letter, Mika wrote about the challenges that his brother Taylor (Bo Dallas) faced in recent years:

“Taylor broke his neck in October 2019. Then, he came home to heal. Then, Covid-19 arrived, and although he managed to put himself in the best form of his life, he was released from WWE in 2021.”

This was his first complete fight in five years, marking the end of a difficult crossing of recovery and return to the stage.

Mika also revealed the side often overlooked the wrestling business:

“This is the business side that most people do not notice or do not want to speak. The low moments.” However, he also expressed an immense pride in his brother, saying: “I am full of emotions for my brothers. But pride will always be in the first place. It doesn't matter what. And last night, Taylor did something that most could never gather the courage to do: get up again!”

Uncle Hoywdy's fight at WWE RAW served as a tribute to Bray Wyatt

The fight had a special meaning for his family, being the last of the night, the star event. Mika highlighted the pressure and intensity of the moment, comparing it with the legacy of his deceased brother Windham (Bray Wyatt), who was a “master of the theater of the mind; a true artist”. He also mentioned how Jason Baker, team designer, did everything possible to make Taylor feel the presence of Windham in the ring, creating a personalized team for him, recycled from the previous struggles of Windham. “What a beautiful feeling and what an incredible fight,” Mika said in his publication.

Uncle Howdy also paid tribute to Bray Wyatt after RAW this week, showing that this return was not only a personal triumph but also a tribute to his brother. Fans, clearly excited, were happy to see him again in action after so many years.

“For everyone who saw and marveled last night, this was very surreal for my family for several reasons,” Mika wrote, highlighting the importance of the moment for all of them.
