Bianca Belair will challenge Iyo Sky for the WWE World World Championship in Wrestlemania 41. A former WWE employee recently suggested that the fight could become a triple Threat with the third competitor being a legend currently absent.
Rhea Ripley captured the Women's World Championship earlier this year in Raw's debut episode in Netflix. Although it seemed that he was heading to Wrestlemania to defend his title against the winner of the Women's elimination Chamber, Bianca Belair, surprisingly he lost the championship against Io Sky last night in RAW. In the last hours, many have suggested that WrestleMania's fight could eventually become a triple Threat.
Speaking in the Podcast Behind the Turnbuckle: The Last Word, the former WWE Employee Tommy Carlucci said that the recent events open the door for the return of Becky Lynch, who has been absent since May 2024. The former floor manager declared that Sky's fight against Berair could become a triple Threat with Lynch as the third competitor:
“This is the only thing that, for me, opens the door to Becky right now: that Io wins tonight and at some point Becky returns and makes him a triple Threat or something like that. Because really, as Gabby said, there is no power to star here. When they tell me we are going to have Iyo (against) Bianca instead of Rhea (against) Bianca, he thinks? That is crazy, ”he said.
Carlucci, who spent more than 30 years in the promotion, said Triple H and his creative team must have reasons to make Ripley lose the title against Sky. Therefore, he predicted that the company could be sowing the seeds for the return of The Man:
“And they don't do things just to do them. So, there are reasons why things are being done and that only opens the door a little more to bring Becky back to the conversation because, until now, nobody is talking about Becky. So you can see that that happens and it is the only thing I see possible. There is no way, and I will go crazy if it happens, that Io and Bianca in Wrestlemania and not rhea at all.
