Tyson Carter, Dylan Ostkowski, Kam Taylor and Yankuba Sima have decided to end their stage in Unicaja. Melvin Ejim is added to them, who will not continue after finishing his contract, and Mario Saint-Supery, who leaves the NCAA. Carter and Ostkowski will play next season in Belgrade, while Taylor and Sima have opted for Valencia Basket, where they can compete in Euroleague.

The Malaga club has formalized the departure of Yankuba Sima, thanking him for his delivery during the two and a half seasons that the green shirt has dressed. The Catalan pivot leaves half a million euros in the unicaja coffers. A figure that has not come out of the pocket of his new club, but of the Sima himself.

Sima landed in Malaga on January 13, 2023, as reinforcement after Lima's injury. He came from the Italian Reyr Venezia, where he had little participation. Previously, he had played four seasons in the Endesa League with Baxi Manresa. Since his arrival, it has been the only signing by the club in the middle of the season.

Although his first steps generated certain doubts, Sima was growing with the passage of the games until he consolidated himself as one of the most solid players of the team. In his stage with the Unicaja he conquered six titles in the Ibon Navarro era: two ACB glasses, two BCL, an Endesa supercope and an intercontinental cup. In total, he played 141 meetings with the shirt of the Cajista team.
