The City Machine Guns have been subject to a lot of discussion in recent months, since fans around the world still wonder where they will end. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin's contracts with TNA expired in early April, and rumors have been unbridled on whether they will choose to sign with WWE or AEW.

Initially, it seemed that Sabin and Shelley would become 'All Elite', since the two men already had a brief history with AEW and appeared in All Out 2022. However, that conversation seemed to go out and the rumor within the industry was that they were destined for WWE.

Now it seems that there is an answer, at least according to Dave Meltzer, who said in the last Wrestling observer Newsletter that the City Machine Guns is expected to begin in WWE in an imminent way. As for the destination within WWE, Meltzer states that, although Sabin and Shelley are one of the most influential teams of their generation, they will be part of the “WWE NXT” brand when they finally debut.

“NXT” has many important events ahead in the near future, since the brand will move to The CW on October 1. The live debut on October 1 will take place from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, which will then be followed by a live episode in St. Louis, Missouri on October 8, which will face it directly with “Aew Dynamite”.

After the two live shows of October 1 and 8, “NXT” will return to the road for Halloween Havoc Ple, which will take place on October 27 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
