
Valencia Basket has put an end to his stage with Chris Jones after three service seasons. The club has executed the cutting clause of the American base contract with Armenian passport, who had guaranteed link until 2026.
Jones was one of the pillars of the project since his arrival in 2022, being a firm commitment of the then coach Álex Mmbrú and being also maintained in the first course of the new cycle of Pedro Martínez. Although he renewed in 2023 for three campaigns, even without knowing if the team would continue to compete in Euroleague, the club has decided to end its contract with an economic compensation agreed with the player.
An output that occurs just after the announcement of Omari Moore signing and confirms the revolution in the Valencia Basket staff, one of the most active teams in this summer market. With Jones, there are already four official exits: Amida Brimah, Semi Ojeleye, Stefan Jovic and the base itself.

Chris Jones closes his stage in Valencia with 183 played matches and averages of 12.2 points, 4.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game, in addition to 39.1% in triples. His best course was the first, in the Euroleague 2022-23, where he led the team with 13.4 points and 14.8 of medium valuation.
