Over the years, there has been talk and speculated about the possibility that John Cena and Randy Orton were responsible for Kennedy's liberation. In a new interview with Ten Count MediaKennedy spoke on the subject and said the following:

“To be honest with you, I have no idea. I don't know if any of that is true. I really don't care. Even if that were true, it's just part of my story. I can complain and regret, or I can move on. Of course, ultimately, I am responsible for them to fire me. Even if those guys spoke after racks or whatever, I was in a situation complicated enough to listen to that. It was the drop that filled the glass, I didn't do any favor anyway while I was there. ”
