One of the most commented events lately in the world of wrestling is the WWE association with TNA, which was reinforced a few days ago. Interestingly, this decision could also be linked to AEW.
TNA's talents began to appear on WWE television in 2024 and vice versa. On January 16, it was officially announced that both companies entered an association of several years that will allow the stars of each brand to appear in the opposite promotion. Interestingly, Dave Meltzer believes that this could be the way in which the headquarters in Stamford is blocking AEW of different television chains.

Meltzer mentioned the wide audience of the headquarters in Stamford in India, saying that if Total Nonstop Action occupies those channels, AEW will not be able to reach an agreement with them.
Dave added that many people close to the Association Agreement think that the headquarters in Stamford will end up “acquiring” the Nashville headquarters. He also said he could end in a disaster, since all the companies with which World Wrestling Entertainment is associated ends “worse.”
