According to Dave Meltzer in Wrestling Observer Radio the real reason behind the delay in Ford's individual impulse does not lies in Ford's skills but in concerns about the future of his teammate, Angelo Dawkins. Meltzer explained that WWE has had plans for a long time for Ford to become an individual star, but the company has doubted.
Although Dawkins has shown a significant improvement in the ring and the microphone, it is informed, the WWE is concerned that dividing the Street Profits can leave it without a significant direction.
