Brock Lesnar has been missing from WWE For more than a year, and his last fight was against Cody Rhodes in Summerslam in 2023. There were rumors that The Beast was going to return in Royal Rumble in January, but this did not materialize and, instead, it seems that the WWE has been waiting for the perfect time to free The Beast once again.
Last night reference was made to Lesnar twice in RAW and the second time was part of a segment in the ring between Cody Rhodes and Gunther. It is clear that Gunther wants a fight against Lesnar and could get it if The Beast makes his return as part of his next trip to Saudi Arabia.
Rhodes and Gunther will face Riyadh to decide who is Crown Jewel and Brock Lesnar champion could return to defeat both. This could lead to WWE to organize a fight between Gunther and Lesnar that could be considered as their retirement fight.
Brock Lesnar could be thinking about retiring from WWE in the coming months
Brock Lesnar is 47 years old and should already be thinking of retiring. Gunther would be the perfect person he could put in his place on his way out. Lesnar was the man who defeated The Undertaker in WrestleMania 30 and defeats him by someone like Gunther could boost his forward career.
The ring general has already shown that it is someone who could lead the company forward in the coming years, but a fight against Lesnar and be surpassed by someone from their caliber could change the Austrian race.
Gunther would lose the Crown Jewel championship if Lesnar interferes, but could take revenge on Lesnar and obtain a massive impulse for Wrestlemania 41 in April 2025.
