The 27 -year -old superstar was the victim of a brutal Spear Bron Breakker who was destined for Aj Styles. The devastating Spear left Dominik almost motionless on the canvas.
Dominik competed against The Phenomenal in a fight against one in the red brand this week. As expected, he lost the fight but would not have imagined that he would be a victim of such a forceful spear.
The former NiT American champion is not in good terms with his Judgment Day partner, Finn Balor. The two have been facing for some time, and even rumored that Dominik could leave the group. His differences began weeks ago when Finn Balor rebuked Dominik for having great dreams of winning Gunther's World WWE Heavyweight Championship.
Raquel, Liv Morgan and Dominik have been quite cold towards Balor for some time, and if Dirty Dom is forced to stay out for a while, Liv and Raquel could even separate from the group at the moment.
If Dominik is forced to leave for injury after Spear this week, he could return to the red brand to a completely new version of The Judgment Day, where he could potentially face Balor in The Showcase of the Immortals.
Dominik Mysterio is expected to face Finn Balor at WWE Wrestlemania 41
Finn Balor lost his qualifying fight for elimination chamber against Seth Rollins in RAW. It was his last chance to book a place for a main event in Wrestlemania 41. However, the 43 -year -old superstar lost against The Visionary fairly.
Balor could be scheduled below against Dominik for a great confrontation in Wrestlemania 41, and a potential rivalry has already been hinted. Balor has been rebuking Dominik for a while, and that could make the 27 -year -old superstar turn against his teammate.
Balor could also attack Dominik, making him Babyface, and then the two could face Wrestlemania 41. The Irish star does not seem to have another worthy opponent aligned for Wrestlemania 41, or Dominik. It is time for WWE to program these two in a convincing story for a great confrontation in The Show of Shows.
