Vince Russo, former WWE main writer and other wrestling promotions, recently made a bold statement. He believes that Shane McMahon should begin his own wrestling company, which could make talents leave the World Wrestling Entertainment led by Triple H and the All Elite Wrestling of Tony Khan.
The last televised appearance of Shane-O-Mac was in WrestleMania 39. The quadriceps muscle was torn in an improvised combat against The Miz, and Snoop Dogg intervened to replace the 55-year-old veteran and defeated the A-Lister. The reports indicated that McMahon was no longer associated with the headquarters in Stamford after June 2024. Meanwhile, for those who do not know, Stephanie McMahon will premiere its original ESPN project, Stephanie’s Placeson March 26.
In it Coach and Bro ShowVinceo Russo discussed the possible future of Shane McMahon in the light of his sister's new program. The veteran suggested that Shane-O-Mac should launch his own wrestling company. Russo argued that Shane McMahon had finance, connections and respect in the industry necessary for success. He believed that fighters and other employees would leave WWE and AEW to join the promotion of Boy Wonder.
“Start your own wrestling company! What is he waiting (Shane McMahon)? Obviously he has the money, obviously they have the connections. People in the business love Shane, (and) people would like to work for Shane. You would have people leaving both companies (WWE and AEW) to go to work for Shane,” he said.
The former WCW heavyweight world champion also talked about how Shane's father, Vince McMahon, has contacts with almost all important people associated with the wrestling business. He pointed out that it would not be difficult for the youngest MCMAHON to start their own wrestling promotion and obtain the necessary important trade agreements.
“My God, his father (Vince McMahon) has a contact notebook of all you can imagine in each possible position in the wrestling business. Start your own wrestling company! Shane McMahon could get a television agreement like this (chasque your fingers), brother, only with his name,” he added. (From 16:50 to 17:27)

In the same episode, Russo said that the former champion by WWE SmackDown couples had the required personality and a strong work ethic. The former main writer encouraged Shane-O-Mac to advance with this plan without depending on the actions of other wrestling promoters, such as Tony Khan.
Vince Russo said that Shane McMahon had an exceptional labor motivation, only surpassed by his father in that aspect.
“I know that (starting a new wrestling organization) would take a lot of work. But Shane is still a relatively young man. Brother, do it! Do not wait for Tony Khan or what Stephanie is doing. Brother, make him happen. Shane has the money, (Y) Shane has the personality. You and I know, coach; nobody works harder than that guy, except perhaps his father. McMahon, ”he said. Only time will say what the future for Shane McMahon in the wrestling business. If a new wrestling promotion will begin, it will return to WWE or join AEW, it remains to be seen.
