Matt and Jeff Hardy (The Hardy Boyz) are authentic legends inside and outside WWE. His battles, both together and alone, have captivated fans for almost three decades, and their impact on the business in general cannot be underestimated.
Since they left the headquarters in Stamford (Matt in 2020 and Jeff in 2021), the legendary performers have appeared in AEW and TNA Wrestling. The Hardy Boyz even captured the TNA championships for the third time in October in Bound for Glory.
With the headquarters in Stamford, recently entering a several -year association with TNA Wrestling, he gave WWE the perfect opportunity to bring Team Extreme to his channel YouTube Vault, where Matt and Jeff relived some of their greatest moments in the sports entertainment giant.
The outstanding points include the epic battles of The Hardy Boyz against The APA, the Dudley Boyz, and an iconic stairs fight against Edge and Christian in No Mercy 1999 that Matt Hardy affirms is his favorite fight.
“This is the fight that we probably tagged and list as our favorite fight for all fighting because this was the fight that made us,” Matt said. (6: 40-6: 49)
Will the Hardy Boyz appear soon on WWE TV?
TNA Wrestling hired stars have been appearing on WWE for several years. Mickie James and Jordynne Grace both made their respective debuts in Royal Rumble while possessing the TNA Knockouts World Knockouts championship.
In 2024, a handful of TNA and Nxt talents appeared in the opposite shows, even challenging for championships. Even the world champion of TNA Joe Hendry made his debut appearance at the Royal Rumble Male this last weekend.
While The Hardy Boyz have not yet appeared in Raw, SmackDown, or NXT, we may not have to wait for much more. The current world champions of TNA couples faced face to face with the NXT Axiom and Nathan Frazer couples champions in January, possibly preparing an angle of champions vs. Champions in the near future.
Recently, Jeff Hardy revealed that he could be bigger than John Cena, but wants to see his career ending with an induction to the Hall of Fame. Today's video could be very good to be the beginning of that process.
