


The renewed vigor of the WWE for interpromotional relationships will continue, since ESPN reported On Thursday they will continue working with TNA through NXT and perhaps also some appearances in the main roster.
The media said that WWE and TNA have signed a several -year association that will see the fighters of TNA and NXT appear regularly in each other's programming.
Of a press release:
“The agreement will allow talents to obtain additional exposure in the key programming of WWE and TNA, including the weekly emblematic programs such as NXT, which is broadcast live by The CW, and TNA Impact!, Live events Live events of WWE Premium and PPV of TNA, which in turn will reinforce its development in the ring with exposure to talents and world -class training.”
The news comes before the first PPV of the year of TNA, Genesis, which will take place this Sunday.
The relationship between both parties began with the former TNA champion Knockouts, Jordynne Grace, appearing at the Royal Rumble last year and seriously began in May when Grace challenged the then NXT women's champion, Roxanne Pérez, in the June Battleground.
The following months would see fighters of both brands to make appearances in the programs of the other, including Grace, Joe Hendry, Frankie Kazarian, Rosemary and The Rascalz de Tna, and Wendy Choo, Sol Ruca, Tatum Paxley, Charlie Dempsey and others from Nxt.
It is not clear if last year's events were part of a handshake or a more formal agreement of one year.
WWE has also been working with Japanese promotions Pro Wrestling Noah and Marigold and with GCW for the Josh Barnett Bloodsport events.
TNA exhibition in Canada is expected to grow in 2025 after signing a new television agreement with Sportsnet.
