The city of Las Vegas seems to be the main candidate to host the WWE Wrestlemania event again. After Thursday's news that WrestleMania 42 next year will not be held in New Orleans, a note in a news article about the change indicated that, according to an officer, the largest event of WWE's year will return to without City.

According to Anthony Mcauley of Nola.com: “After the success of this year's event, the new leadership that WWE runs decided that they prefer to perform the event next year in Las Vegas and see what answer they get from fans, according to an industry officer who was not authorized to be summoned by name.”

Potential dates are still unknown. So far, there is nothing in the public calendar of Allegiant Stadium for April 2026, but that does not mean that there are no events or shows already reserved.

Walt Leger of New Orleans & Co. affirmed in the article that it was WWE decision to retire for next year and have been working with WWE in recent days to identify future dates for future events.

The Rock had announced New Orleans as the host city during an edition of February 2025 after reports at the beginning of the month that the city was secured for the show.

Through a joint statement, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and New Orleans & Company confirmed that Money in the Bank will be carried out in 2026 and that they are looking to expand their relationship with TKO, which includes an UFC vision event this summer. WWE has not yet made a statement about change.

WWE celebrated Wrestlemania 41 at Allegiant Stadium last April, in what they announced as the most successful financial show in the company's history. The two -night event attracted an announced assistance of 124,693 people, although they did not disseminate the box office. If he was the most successful, he would have had to exceed the total of almost $ 40 million that Wrestlemania 40 in Philadelphia achieved in both nights.
