Orton and CenaOrton and Cena

The former WWE Chief Guicist, Vince Russo, recently criticized the company for its handling of the fight between John Cena and Randy Orton. The two megaestrellas are scheduled to face for WWE's undisputed universal title in backlash tonight.

Orton has been taking the front about dinner in the exchanges prior to Backlash. The Viper had already connected a couple of Rkos to The Franchise Player before SmackDown. This week, in the blue brand program, Randy attacked again, leaving the champion on the floor with an RKO after Cena executed an attitude Adjustment on a double.

This week, in the podcast BrodawnRusso criticized the creative team led by Triple H for predictability. He explained that it was evident that John Cena would retain in Backlash, although Randy Orton knocked him down during his clashes. He felt that WWE did not even try to make the intriguing fight and wondered why someone would tune in to see the PLE.

“I swear for God, man, everything is so convicted. Orton hits dinner with three rkos in three weeks, and what? Do you think Orton will overcome dinner? It's so predictable, Mac. It's as if they didn't even try to mislead you. Just because of predictability, I don't know why someone would spend two minutes of their time seeing that fight. There is no way that Orton wins that damn fight, he said. (From 11:50 on)

It will be a historical moment in backlash when Randy Orton and John Cena renew their rivalry. It will be interesting to who leaves St. Louis as WWE undisputed universal champion.
