2025 will be remembered as the year not one, but two WWE legends will end their respective races within the ring. Former Universal Goldberg champion will join John Cena on his farewell tour this year. An update on the state of the WCW icon has emerged, and they are not good news.
Goldberg has not put on wrestling boots since he lost against the then undisputed universal champion Roman Reigns in Elimination Chamber 2022. Later, “Da Man” revealed that Vince McMahon promised him a retirement tour. His wish was finally granted when Triple H assumed the creative control of the WWE.
The member of the 58 -year -old Fame, returned last year in Bad Blood, where he confronted Gunther for missing his family. The plot was apparently created to plant the seeds of his last fight.
Recent rumors suggested that The Myth would appear on January 27 at RAW in Netflix, which will take place in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. However, that will not be so.
Dr. Chris Featherstone recently knew that Goldberg is not included in the creative plans for the RAW episode prior to Royal Rumble.

In the podcast Story Time with Dutch Mantellthe formermanager explained why only Sikoa should be Goldberg's final opponent.
“(Only Sikoa as Billdberg's opponent) would be much better because they (fans) already hate him; they don't like it. And they could plan an ending that makes everyone look good. But with Gunther, I'm thinking: 'How could they plan this end so Gunter really looks good?'
The “Street Champion” currently does not have a clear path to the Royal Rumble. He recently lost against Roman Reigns in a fighter match tribal and delivered his Ula Fala necklace.
Last week in SmackDown, only Sikoa left the new Bloodline, leaving Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga completely bewildered. It will be interesting to see what Triple H has prepared for him while Royal Rumble approaches.
