Goldberg's successful wrestling race covered WCW and WWE. He has announced that 2025 will mark his business retirement.

In Bad Blood 2024, Goldberg jumped his barricade and was ready to face the worldwide heavyweight world champion Gunher after he ridiculed him in front of his wife and son. Many feel that this is the 58 -year -old withdrawal combat. In Story Time with Dutch Mantell, Dutch Mantell discussed this possible encounter.

Mantell believes that the company does not need the veteran, but it is still a special attraction for a premium live event. The formermanager wondered if WWE would consider using the former universal champion at an event of the “great four” as Summerslam, for example, but said there is no reason to defeat a rising star in the Roster.

“Look what Goldberg is doing, he is advertising to press and include it, but if I were WWE, the ball is on his side,” said Mantell. “They can hire it or not. I mean, it would be great to see it, I would say, but they do not necessarily need it. It would be great to put it on a sign of Summerslam or in any other of the great payment events by vision of the year, but I would not beat Gunther.” (From 1:17:44 to 1:18:16)

Dutch Mantell also articulated a scenario where Man wins his retirement fight. It has to be against someone who competes below on the billboard and not names like Gunther, Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre.

Goldberg showed interest in facing the WWE Bron Breakker champion

During a recent appearance in The Ariel Helwani Show, Goldberg discussed several potential opponents for his retirement fight. However, he has a special affection for Bron Breakker of the Raw Roster. The 58 -year -old veteran revealed that he has a long -standing relationship with Breakker and the Steiner family. He said that “the sky is the limit” for the intercontinental champion.

The WCW legend also admitted that it genuinely wants to work with Bron Breakker, 27, whom many cite as a future genuine world champion. However, he also hinted that WWE might not want to go in that direction.
