The WWE Kevin Nash legend recalled Brock Lesnar's infamous fight with Kurt Angle, where Lesnar fell head, and said he thought that former WWE champion had died in the ring.
Nash was accompanied by Violent J of Insane Clown Posse in his “Kliq This” podcast, where they talked about dangerous movements they made in their wrestling career. The member of the WWE Hall of Fame talked about the Shooting Star Press movement of Lesnar against Angle that went wrong, and Nash said he thought Lesnar was dead.
“I will never forget when we were in Seattle and Brock and Kurt Angle had that fight and Kurt was about half in the middle of the ring and then took it and moved another half to the corner and Brock was in the corner more, further and placed it and realized that it was too far away. And brock simply said 'to the m#$ rd Suicido.
The WWE legend was surprised to see how Lesnar continued with the fight despite falling head and suffering a brain shock. Lesnar and Angle had to improvise after the failed movement in Wrestlemania XIX and end the fight, with the first obtaining the victory over the Olympic gold medalist.
Nash also said that he led with Lesnar during his early years at the WWE, remembering how “the incarnate beast” was not a fan of wrestling and hated her. Lesnar was fed up with the lifestyle of professional wrestling at the beginning of his career at WWE and was surprised to learn that Nash had been part of the professional wrestling business for 20 and so many years. Nash and Lesnar were at WWE at the same time for a short period, but they never had the opportunity to face the ring.
Brock Lesnar could return to WWE at any time
The former universal champion has been absent from the wrestling scene for a prolonged period. His last appearance in the WWE ring was in Summerslam 2023, where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in the last of a struggle trilogy.
If Lesnar is ready to join the headquarters in Stamford, it could return at any time, even Survivor Series Party in November.
