An former SmackDown experestrial recently made an shocking statement months after his WWE dismissal. It was released from the Stamford -based promotion earlier this year in February.

Elektra Lopez was part of the sports entertainment giant from 2018 to 2025. During his time in the main roster, the godmother managed to legacy of the ghost, a group that included Santos Escobar, Angel and Berto. His last fight in the ring occurred in the SmackDown episode of December 6, 2024, where he competed against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in the first round of the tournament for the United States Women's Championship.

Elektra Lopez arrived home that afternoon around 2:30 pm and received a call informing him of his dismissal without explanation. He felt that he was not given a fair opportunity despite his hard work for WWE.

“I was on television that Friday. People were being fired while we worked. 'Oh, m $%^da, maybe I dodged this bullet this time.' I get home, they would be like 2:30 in the afternoon, and I receive a call, and they gave me the news.

In the same video, the former legacy of the ghost said he never really received an opportunity to show his entire skill set. He felt limited to a manager's role, which prevented him from exhibiting his talents in the ring.

The Cherokee warrior was surprised by her WWE dismissal, pointing out the lack of explanation about why her role did not work.

“If they had given me a chance and I had failed, I would understand, but they really didn't give me a chance to show you what I can do when I am more than just a manager. They brought me to be in that role, they put me in a box and then said goodbye because it did not work. They did not let me open that box and show you what I can do. I was very surprised. I did not receive any explanation about what the reason was, he added.

Elektra Lopez has returned to his previous name in the ring, Karissa Rivera, in the independent circuit.

After his departure from the WWE, the godmother is now scheduled to compete against Deonna Purrazzo at the Puerto Rican Weekend event of House of Glory on June 7, 2025.
