Randy Orton was a key part of SmackDown's initial segment. Although he spoke briefly about his opponent in Wrestlemania, Kevin Owens, an important clue could have dropped on how things could develop.
Things became sentimental when Randy Orton praised Cody Rhodes for his courage to leave WWE, make a name, return and then finish his story. However, he pointed out that when a story ends, another begins. This is where things got interesting, since he promised to go after WWE's title after Wrestlemania.
The interesting thing is that Randy Orton is from St. Louis, Missouri, where the first WWE PL will take place after Wrestlemania, Backlash. This could be an important clue that he will go for WWE's undisputed championship in the PLE, either against Cody Rhodes or John Cena. This could mean that Orton will beat Kevin Owens in Wrestlemania.
Of course, most fans would prefer to see Orton face their defining rival of their career, John Cena, about Cody Rhodes. Although Orton-Rhodes combat is inevitable, making it happen with both as fully established babyfaces seems to be much to be desired.
The idea of a Heel dinner against an Orton Babyface, however, is something that could sell tickets importantly.
It will be interesting to see how things develop in Wrestlemania 41.
