WWE Rikishi's legend named the fighter who wants to see back in the sports entertainment giant. However, this was after making a controversial statement.
In the last episode of Off The TopRikishi said Naomi is the best black female athlete in World Wrestling Entertainment. He admitted that if The Glow fights Mercedes Mone in the shows shows, that would generate a lot of money.
Rikishi also added that he hopes to see the current TBS champion of AEW on WWE one day.
“Oh, Trinity (Naomi). I have to go with my trinity. I would love to see a wild moment, see Trinity face Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone). Sasha Banks is surprised, entering 'Mania or something,” Rikishi said. (From 42:08 to 42:34)
Mercedes Monen left WWE in 2022 with his then teammate Naomi. The Glow returned to the company last year and has had a good streak. Meanwhile, Mone competed in Japan and then signed with AEW in 2024.
The current teammate of Naomi, Bianca Belair, has also had a significant impact on the wrestling business since the beginning of the new decade. Wrestlemania 37 headed with Sasha Banks and is WWE's female champion with the longest reign of the modern era.
The Est assured its ticket to WWE Wrestlemania 41 last Saturday by winning the female combat of Elimination Chamber. In addition, at the beginning of the fight, Jade Cargill returned to attack Naomi.
Rikishi's daughter -in -law, Naomi, talked about working as a heel superstar
For years, Naomi has remained as Babyface. He admitted that you have to consider some things if you are going to make such a drastic change, but feel that it would be important.
In an interview with Donnie Dasilva and Jimmy Korderas in HUGE POP!The Glow approached his rumored heel turn. He affirmed that if WWE decides to turn her into heel, he would become “unpleasant” and “dirty”, which would mean that her long time and what works for her as Babyface would be affected:
“I love what Naomi has done and has become this point. However, I never want to stagnate, make myself complacent or simply go for inertia. I feel there is a time for The Glow to change and evolve, and I am always willing to do so. But I don't want to force anything either,” he said. “The moment has to be correct. For me to change after being so connected and established, and something that still works, I would like to be worth it and bet everything. (…) I have to be unpleasant, dirty, something you have never seen before. Everything has to change, and I am ready for that.”
It remains to be seen if what happened in Elimination Chamber 2025 was the beginning of the Heel race of the former World Knockouts champion of TNA in WWE.
