The former WWE chief writer, Vince Russo, talked about Sami Zayn receiving a beating at RAW. The star was in the sights of Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker.
Sami had a heated discussion with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker during RAW's initial segment. This led to a fight between Zayn and Breakker in the main event. During combat, The Visionary decided that Sami was beyond salvation and urged Bron to destroy him. The fight had to be arrested, and Rollins planted the popular star with a brutal Stomp.
In the last episode of Legion of RAWRusso wondered about Jey's whereabouts during the beating. He noticed that WWE highlighted the friendship of the world heavyweight champion with Sami Zayn for weeks. The veteran writer felt that if the creative team wanted to sell Angle, Jey should have run to help his friend when other officers were in the ring to protect Sami.
“Here is something else. I guess Jey use and Sami Zayn are not so close. I mean, everyone is running in the end to save Sami, but I don't use jey. You made me believe they were very close. I think Sami told Jey that he wanted him two weeks ago. Jamie noble is out there. But Jey use is not helping his friend,” he said. (From 8:16 onwards)
I use Logan Paul this week and put him to sleep with a Superkick. It will be interesting to see if Jey defends the World Heavyweight Championship against The Maverick in the coming months.
