WWE presented an episode full of SmackDown this week in which Paul Heyman and CM Punk returned. After the program, Dutch Mantell shared his thoughts and admitted that he could see Heyman's participation kilometers away.
The final segment of the Blue Brand had the OG and New Bloodline factions in a confrontation in the middle of the ring. The crowd broke out loudly when the voice of Paul Heyman and The Wiseman was heard to reveal that he had found the fifth member of the Wargames team of Roman Reigns.
The music of CM Punk sounded and the Second City Saint He joined the other babyfaces in the ring to finish SmackDown with a fight for history. Roman Reigns and CM Punk applied the Spear and the GTS before posing in the ring while the program came out of the air.
“I knew that Paul Heyman was going to be there, but since I don't see RAW, CM Punk is no longer on my radar. So I didn't even think of cm punk, but I knew that Heyman would be there. It was really one of the best segments I've seen in SmackDown this year because they put together very well.” (From minute 4:00 onwards)
With punk joining forces with Reigns, WWE gave fans another great reason to tune Survivor Series Wargames for a fight that could shape the first stories by 2025.
Paul Heyman says there is much to tell the story of Bloodline
In a press conference from the WWE, Paul Heyman answered a question about what part of general history they were saying that the angle was in the “lower part of the third.” Heyman said:
“Last year, some people tried to strip me, such as: 'Oh, Paul Heyman said they are barely in the third entry, what an idiot is Paul Heyman!' I have news for you, I do not even think that we are in the third entry yet and now that you see the emergence of Solo and Jacob Fatu and the Tonganos and the fact that they are a real threat, the first time that a real threat to Roman Reigns domain, so that Roman Reigns is sitting at the head, so that Roman Reigns is the main star, so that Roman Reigns is actually the tribal chief count from the position we are now? “
Heyman made his return on Friday night on WWE SmmackDown after he received a Power Bomb through a table from The Bloodline in the June 28 edition of the program.
