Bayley is currently considered a legitimate contender for the title recently presented by the WWE, the United States Women's Championship. However, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman believes that the company would not give gold to The Role Model due to its close relationship with an outstanding AEW star.
Almost two years ago, Mercedes Mone (formerly Sasha Banks) left the company during an episode of Monday Night Raw. Earlier this year, The CEO debuted in AEW, where the TBS championship currently holds. Despite working for different promotions, Mone is still a close friend from Bayley. The two have attended several events together in recent months and continue to support their careers in a very public way.
In statements to the podcast Behind The Turnbuckle: The War RoomCoachman said the WWE executives are probably not happy with The Role Model's relationship with Mone. He predicted that Bayley's friendship with The CEO could be the reason why the United States women's championship escapes.
“Part of the reason why Bayley will not win the title is because she and Mercedes Mone They will never give it to him, ”he said.
