WWE's intercontinental champion Bron Breakker has been more absent in Monday Night Raw lately, but the program is receiving premium treatment with its transfer to Netflix. Several important names have worked on the red brand shows, and maybe the company wants to know if Bron Breakker can compete with the best. Sam Roberts believes that is what they will discover in the main event of Saturday Night.

On January 25, Saturday Night's Main Event will present The Dog in Action while putting his intercontinental title at play against Sheamus.

Speaking in the podcast Notsam WrestlingSam Roberts discussed the next fight for the title. He pointed out how the Irishman is the culminating point of the night in each show in which he participates from his return to the ring in April 2024. Although the former WWE champion needs a victory here, a defeat would not affect him at all:

“The objective is that people who tune in Saturday Night's Main Event see what Sheamus is capable of now and how much potential Bron Breakker has. I think Bron wins, and Sheamus, once again, does not lose anything,” Sam Roberts predicted. (From 31:50 to 32:06)

Sheamus has been behind the intercontinental championship for several years. More recently, he tried to win gold in RAW and Survivor Series: Wargames in November, where he was defeated by Bron Breakker in a triple threat that also included Ludwig Kaiser.

Is Bron Breakker a future world champion in WWE? Cm punk believes

Bron Breakker obtained the approval of CM Punk when The Best in the World spoke very well about him after he won his first individual title in Summerslam last year.

In an interview during the Fanatics Fest NYCPunk pointed out how Breakker is “dangerous” because he has Steiner's blood running through his veins. He recognized the pressure that the 27 -year -old intercontinental champion faces at this stage of his career, but added that he will succeed if he continues to strive:

“I think it is dangerous because it is a Steiner. The future looks bright whenever I can navigate the waters and deal with all the pressure. Everyone looks at it and they say the same thing: 'a future world champion and superstar'. That is a lot to drive when you are young and you're starting. He has his head in his place. I predict good things for him.”

As seen above, another prominent fight in the Saturday Night's Main Event's billboard is the worldwide heavyweight champion Gunther vs. Jey use by the title. Jim Cornette openly admitted that he does not want to see Use to win the main belt of the red brand just at the beginning of the new year.
