Speaking in K100 with Konnan and Disco InfernoKonnan reacted to Carmelo Hayes's fight against Randy Orton from Barcelona. The veteran said that the company will soon boost the former NXT champion, NXT Cruiserweight and twice American champion because he is a good worker.
“You know, Carmelo Hayes always gives a good fight and loses. Soon, they will reward him,” said Konnan.

Last year, Carmelo Hayes turned Heel and had a rivalry with Trick Williams in the development brand. After losing the rivalry and highlighting Williams, he received his promotion to the main roster and joined Wwe SmackDown.
