We’re delighted to announce that Stina Blackstenius has signed a new contract with the club.
Our number 25 joined us from Swedish side BK Hacken in 2022 and has become a firm favourite with our supporters, gaining a reputation as an instinctive finisher and important team player.
Stina has scored 64 goals in 152 appearances for Arsenal – none more important than the late winner against Barcelona that wrote her name into the history books as we clinched a historic second UEFA Women’s Champions League title in May 2025.
The 30-year-old striker has won all four of the finals she’s contested as an Arsenal player, and counts two League Cup titles and a FIFA Champions Cup winners’ medal among her club accolades, alongside that Champions League win.

Stina also found the net in each of those League Cup wins, both achieved at the expense of Chelsea in 2023 and 2024, and finished as our top scorer in each of those campaigns.
Born in Vadstena in 1996, Stina made her Swedish national team debut in 2015 and has since gone on to score 43 goals in 127 games for her country, helping Sweden to third-place finishes at the 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cups. Recently named captain for Sweden’s latest World Cup qualification matches, Stina continues to be a key player for her country.
Everyone at the club looks forward to watching Stina’s continued contribution and impact here at Arsenal.
