David Raya brought up 100 Premier League appearances in Arsenal colours with a clean sheet in our 1-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion at AMEX Stadium.

The Spanish stopper joined us in August 2023, going on to pick up back-to-back Golden Glove awards as a reliable figure between the sticks in N5.

To mark his century of PL caps in our colours, we’ve taken a dive into the details to see how David stacks up against fellow centurions!

Rising above the rest

In turning out at Brighton, David became the 74th player to make 100 Premier League appearances for us, the seventh goalkeeper to achieve the feat.

David kicked things off as he meant to go on, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Everton in September 2023.

In his first 100 appearances in the Premier League, David has kept 43 clean sheets, more than any other Arsenal goalkeeper in the same time frame.

Winning from the back

David has enjoyed being part of plenty of winning teams within his first 100 PL games as our stopper, producing a string of fine saves to ensure we secured the three points.

No Arsenal goalkeeper has won more games in their opening 100 matches than the former Brentford man, with the latest hard earned victory on the south coast against the Seagulls.

No goalkeeper has won more matches since David made his debut for us at Goodison Park.

Not only that, but David towers over the rest of his peers when it comes to shutting out opponents. No goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets or had a better minute/goal conceeded ratio than our number 1.
