Kai Havertz makes his first start since facing Sunderland early last month, as Mikel Arteta rings the changes for our FA Cup fifth round trip to League One side Mansfield Town.
Max Dowman becomes our youngest ever FA Cup player, starting at the age of 16 years and 66 days, making his comeback from injury. It’s his first appearance since playing against Slavia Prague in the Champions League in November.
There’s also a place in the starting XI for another 16 year old – Marli Salmon starts in defence with Cristhian Mosquera and Riccardo Calafiori.
Mosquera and Gabriel Martinelli are the two players to retain their place from our midweek win away to Brighton.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is in goal, while Christian Norgaard, Leandro Trossard, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Jesus are also starting.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is suspended, while there is no place in the matchday squad at all for Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Gabriel or David Raya.
There are three 18 year olds named on the bench, including recent arrival from Stoke City Jaden Dixon – the defender would make his first-team debut if he features. Midfielder Ife Ibrahim and forward Andre Harriman-Annous have already played for the first team this season.
Mansfield come into the game placed 16th in League One, having beaten Burnley away in the last round to reach this stage of the cup.
They make three changes from the side that drew 0-0 at Rotherham in midweek with Kyle Knoyle, Stephen McLaughlin and Tyler Roberts all coming in to start.
