Finn Bálor and The Judgment Day recently received the news of Carlito's departure from WWE after the company decided not to renew its contract. It seems that bad news does not end there, since today, June 3, 2025, a whole year has been completed since Bálor won an individual combat in the promotion.
Bálor has fought in several fighting during the last year, but many have been as a team with JD McDonagh and other members of the Heel faction. The Prince and McDonagh are former world couples champions, and it seems that Finn has spent much of the last year focusing on leading The Judgment Day.
The last individual victory of the former universal champion was in the episode of RAW of June 3, 2024, where he defeated Dragon Lee. Since then, he has competed in seven individual fights, of which he lost six and one ended without result.
After betraying Damian Priest in Summerslam 2024, and after Rhea Ripley was also expelled from the group, it seemed that Bálor had taken the reins of the faction and focused on them as a unit.
Bálor is the inaugural universal champion and someone who could be elevated to the star level of the company as soon as the history of The Judgment Day ends, but it is shocking that he has not won a fight in a year.
Finn Bálor is not scheduled for Money in the Bank this weekend
Another big surprise is the fact that someone like Finn Bálor is not scheduled for Money in the Bank. In fact, none of The Judgment Day will appear in the event, since everyone failed to qualify for the combat of traditional stairs.
Carlito's departure from the company has also ended with its history with Raquel Rodríguez, after the two stars seemed to approach in recent weeks. It was a surprise that was not fired by WWE, but has been completely withdrawn from television from now on, although his contract has not yet expired.
It will be interesting to see if Carlito's departure forces WWE to finally divide the group after the recent insinuations.
