More than 2,000 police officers will be mobilized on Wednesday around the Parc des Princes for the PSG-Arsenal meeting in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League, France Inter learned on Tuesday May 6 via a press release from the Paris police headquarters.

In addition to the system set up around the Parc des Princes, “as well as in stations, stations and lines likely to accommodate spectators and supporters”another device will be deployed “around the avenue des Champs-Élysées (from May 7 to 9), as part of the preparatory measures linked to the commemoration ceremony of May 8, 1945”.

This safety device is “adapted to the event and to the risk assessment carried out”specifies the press release. The goal: “Prevent any disturbance to public order and fight against the phenomena of delinquency”. “No excess will be tolerated”indicates the Paris police headquarters.
