PSG files an appeal with UEFA to obtain more seats for its supporters during the match against Arsenal scheduled for Tuesday April 29 in London, we learned this Thursday “here Paris Ile-de-France” (ex-France Bleu) with the club.

The ticket office for the Champions League semi-final against Arsenal opened on Thursday April 24, a few days before the match. A late opening due to a disagreement between the two clubs over the number of places allocated to Parisians. In total, 2,500 places will be available while PSG hoped for 3,000, as required by the rule of 5% of places set by UEFA. The Parisian club has therefore decided to initiate an appeal, in particular before UEFA, to win its case.

Despite repeated requests from Parisians, Arsenal refuses to increase this gauge to 3,000, citing security reasons and in particular broken seats during a previous match, according to information from “ici Paris Ile-de-France” obtained from the Parisian club. A justification that PSG contests, citing seats that were unintentionally broken and repaired, at the expense of Paris Saint-Germain.

Furthermore, PSG points out the inconsistency of Arsenal’s decision, while the other matches of the season took place smoothly and Parisian supporters benefited from 5% of stadium capacity. Particularly in Birmingham, Liverpool or even during group matches.
