European qualifiers are the name of the game during this international break for our academy starlets, with 10 of our Hale Enders representing their countries over the next fortnight.

Two simultaneous UEFA Euro under-19 qualifying campaigns are taking place in March, with current under-19 squads looking to secure passage to this summer’s competition in Wales, and under-18 sides kick-starting their journeys to qualify for next summer’s tournament in Czechia.

Khary Ranson and Max Dowman are in the England under-19s set up and will face Portugal, Poland and Serbia, who have Louis Zecevic-John in their squad. The top side in these current under-19s qualifiers will qualify for this summer’s tournament.

Licensed O’Neill’s impressive season has earned him a place in the Northern Ireland under-19s. The winger will take on Ukraine, Romania and Kazakhstan for a chance to qualify after hosting the tournament back in 2024.

Demian Agustien will be in action for the Netherlands under-19s as they take on Finland, Slovenia and Spain over the next week.

Lastly, Brayden Clarke has been selected by Wales under-19s. The nation has already qualified for this summer’s showpiece as hosts and will take on the United States as part of their warm-up programme.

Qualifying for next summer’s UEFA Euro U19 competition kicks off this month, with under-18 squads competing for a chance to reach Czechia in 2027.

Goalkeeper Jack Porter is with the England under-18s, who are in action against Bulgaria, Spain and Croatia. Alex Marciniak is in the under-18s for Wales, who will travel to Switzerland for matches against France, Hungary and the Swiss.

Elsewhere, there are two players in the under-17s bracket. Marli Salmonwho has made four first-team appearances this season, has a trio of Euro U17 qualifiers with England. The Young Lions face the Faroe Islands, Israel and Estonia in the first round of qualifying.

Patrick Strachow is in action for the Poland under-17s, hosting Ireland, Croatia and Slovakia in the first round of qualifiers.
