Alessia Russo and Lotte Wubben-Moy have both been nominated for March’s Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Month award.
Russo scored her first hat-trick for us in our 5-2 north London derby win over Tottenham Hotspur to wrap up a month of three wins from three in the league.
Our forward also provided an assist for Stina Blackstenius in a 2-0 win over London City Lionesses, and scored the second goal of our 5-0 win over West Ham United.
As for Wubben-Moy, she was our only defender to start all three WSL matches in March, helping us to two clean sheets.
The other players in contention for this award are Kerstin Casparij (Manchester City), Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa), Ceri Holland (Liverpool), Khadija Shaw (Manchester City) and Lynn Wilms (Aston Villa).
