The UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals began with a 2-1 win at home to Lyon at Arsenal Stadium on Sunday.
Lyon took the lead by way of Jule Brand’s 18th-minute opener, but we produced an impressive second-half display to turn the tie around.
Mariona Caldentey’s free-kick wasn’t dealt with properly, resulting in an Ingrid Syrstad Engen own goal, before Olivia Smith knocked in our second.
