Gunther has been suspended by WWE after his attack on Pat Mcafee in this week of Monday Night Raw. Now, the former heavyweight world champion is expected to be absent from the program for several weeks.

Adam Pearce made the announcement earlier today and pointed out that Gunther would also be fined with an unrelated amount. The suspension was indefinite, which means that it could be out for a predictable future.

The reason behind this has been revealed by Pwnexus Cory Hays, who said The General Ring had requested time outside WWE. This seems to be the reason why the indefinite suspension was announced.

Gunther has been working as a world heavyweight champion during the last eight months, and now that Jey use has taken control of the title, it seems the perfect time for him to take a break.

The former world champion welcomed a son at the beginning of last year and has been touring for much of his life, so it is finally time to spend time with his son and his wife, the former star of Wwe Jinny.

Gunther could return after wwe backlash

Cody Rhodes is another star that could take a free time, considering that the impulse towards Backlash seems to be for John Cena against Randy Orton.

The General Ring could have similar plans and could return in the preparation for Summerslam and Clash in Paris.

Jey use will need a challenger for Backlash, and it seems that, with his former absent rival, someone else could take a step forward and receive an opportunity in a live premium event. It will be interesting to see what your imperium partner, Ludwig Kaiser, is doing while The Ring General is out.

Kaiser has been, possibly, underutilized in recent months since he focused on his solo career, and now it could be the time to be driven.
