Our young Gunners aim to return to winning ways in the Premier League 2 when they host Leicester City on Friday, March 13.

The match will take place at Mangata Developments Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm (UK time). The game will be available to stream on The Arsenal app and on Arsenal.com.

Our under-21s enjoyed a strong start to 2026, with four wins from six games, but have since gone without victory in their last two outings. A narrow 1-0 defeat to Ipswich Town was followed by a 2-2 draw with Norwich City a week ago, pegged back late on in Norfolk.

The floodgates opened after the interval at the Canaries’ Colney Training Centre, when Ceadach O’Neill and Sebastian Ferdinand had twice given us the lead, but for a stoppage-time equaliser to cancel out our hard work.

We currently sit 10th in the table, with 26 points from 16 games, and on track to qualify for the knockout stages.

the opposition

Like us, the Foxes have endured a season of mixed results. After opening 2026 with two wins, they have managed just one victory from their last six, which came in a 2-1 triumph over Norwich at the start of February.

Monday’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle United leaves them a place below us in the PL2 table, a point fewer despite having played a game extra.

In other competitions, the East Midlands outfit exited the group stages of both the domestic and international Premier League cups.

We last faced Leicester in August 2023, when a rifled finish from James Lannin-Sweet, accompanied by an incredible hat-trick by Ethan Nwaneri, secured a 4-1 rout in north London.
